For Mac · Halloween visualizer

Your spare screens, haunted.

Ghostfi is the Halloween edition of Glowfi. It listens to whatever your Mac is playing and turns it into 17 spooky scenes that move with the music, all locked to the same tempo and bar.

Ghostfi scenes cycling: Jack-o-Lantern, Haunted House, Skeleton Dance, Ouija and Phantom Organ
17Halloween scenes, drawn live in Metal
10filters, from CRT to ASCII
12scene transitions
1beat count shared by every screen
Knows the music

Even the graveyard keeps the beat.

One shared analyzer finds the BPM, the bar, beat 1 and the drop. Every screen shows the same tempo, and the count carries on across scene changes.

  • Change scene every 16 or 32 bars, right on the first beat of the phrase
  • Or the moment the kick slams back in after a breakdown
  • Drum & bass reads 174, not half time
The Graveyard scene: a pumpkin moon over tombstones, one showing the live BPM

Your name, in the haunted house.

Type your name or the event and it shows up on most scenes. Retype it mid-set from the control strip and it goes live as you type.

  • Each screen can show its own scene and filter, or all the same
  • A blackout key fades every screen to black, and back
  • A 30 fps mode for about half the GPU, with beats still tracked 60 times a second
The Vampire scene: a coffin under a blood-red moon, with HAPPY HALLOWEEN on its plate
Built for gigs

Hears just your DJ software.

Ghostfi hears your Mac's own sound with no setup. Or point it at one output device, like rekordbox's, and it follows only what that device plays.

  • Or an input: a mixer, external decks or a microphone
  • Fullscreen on any monitor without ever taking focus from your DJ app
  • Installs beside Glowfi, with its own settings
  • The audio is analysed in memory, never recorded, saved or sent anywhere
The Cauldron scene: a bubbling brew over green flames, potion shelves behind
